Workshop Outline
Project Management as a discipline has undergone dramatic changes in terms of its principles, framework, relevance and desirable competency across organization, teams and managers. Today, it is closely associated with strategy implementation than in the past; from portfolio selection, program management to execution of a project.

These paradigm shifts has compelled organizations to inculcate newer sets of competencies in teams working on projects.  The challenge is more evocative in global project environment, which is characterized by a high degree of interdependency, coordination challenges and fast pace.

For project engineers as well as managers, this workshop’s objective is to help decipher the “PM Way” for global projects effectively.

This workshop is designed for Project Executives, Managers and Functional Leaders from such industries. It is focused on the unique needs of Indian industries and the goal is to develop their knowledge and mentor them through the implementation process in their project environment.

Workshop Methodology
The workshop will be practice driven and use real world experiences to enunciate the key principles of PM. It will use simulation and games apart from specially designed engagements to enhance the learning experience and link it to performance on the job.

Successful completion of the program offers participants an opportunity to continue with their preparation PM Certifications with online web based mentoring and coaching program.  The participant will have access to the learning portal to view recorded lectures, content and assessments to reinforce learning.

  • Managers and Project Team Members with at least 4-5 years of work experience in a project environment not necessarily as a Project Manager.
  • Middle and senior level executives responsible for managing change and new initiatives.

  • Describe the elements required to identify the risks and develop response plans
  • Describe how to develop a communication plan taking into account the requirements for stakeholders
  • Explain the difference between project progress and performance report
  • Describe different managerial styles and its impact to project execution
  • Describe the balance required between the “Art (interpersonal)” and Science (Processes)”to delivery projects successfully
