Certificate in Project Management (CPM)

3-Day Simulation based Experiential Learning Workshop AND/OR Online Instructor Lead Mentoring Plus Self–Learning plus Application Practicum Assessment and Feedback

Overview:
CPM is a complete learning and support framework that facilitates acquisition of core professional Project Management competencies. It’s a solution that goes beyond training, towards linking practical Global Standards based learning to performance on live projects.

It is a learning solution that guides aspiring Project Managers in placing themselves in the context of everyday project practices. The skills and expertise gained through this process is what we call ‘developing competencies’. Projects benefit the most when existing skill sets of project personnel mature into full-fledged Project Management competencies. CPM’s Practitioner led development is aimed at closing the gap between knowing and doing for managers working on live projects.

This certificate program is designed for Project Executives, Managers and Functional Leaders and it is focused on the unique needs of industries.

How CPM Works:
Here is a closer look at how each component of the three-tier CPM program is implemented.

  • First Tier - Foundation
    3-day workshop on OR
12 web based session of 1.5 hrs each (2 sessions per week)
The workshop comprises three-day intensive training sessions. Optional to the workshop, participants may select 12 web based sessions with our mentors. Either learning intervention serves as the foundation for the learning process providing participants with basic skills, techniques and tools for effective project management implementation.

  • Second Tier- Practice and Application
Participants will self-learn using the interactive content provided on the learning portal. Meanwhile they will work on implementing fundamental skills on their project, using the process toolkits provided. This tool-kit will have accompanying project case examples mapped to the processes as a learning benchmark. At the end of 4 weeks (from completion of training inputs) participant will submit their application practicum (on the PM toolkit) provided as well as appear for an online knowledge assessment test.

  • Third Tier – Reporting and Feedback
Participants will get a written feedback from the program instructor on their final application report. This report will not only assess and measure the participant’s performance on the professional competency continuum but also provide feedback on the areas of strengths and improvement. On successful completion of the required benchmarks participants will be awarded the Certification.
