Program and Project Plan Development

This is a hands-on workshop where teams and organizations can leverage our expertise and develop a solid implementation plan that can be implemented immediately. The workshop is highly interactive, expertly facilitated and focused on implementing programs and projects required for:

  • Launching a Mission Critical a Business Initiative
  • Definitions and High level plan for a complex transformation initiative
  • Strategic Plan for a complete portfolio of programs or projects
  • Recovery Plan for bringing a troubled project back on track

Workshop Methodology:

The workshop brings together core team members for 3 immersive days with their project information. Expert professionals from PM Academy will work closely with the Program and or Project Manager and Sponsor to prepare for the planning sessions - defining the objectives, process, agenda, deliverables, all aligned to the need and requirements of the program/project.

The workshop is tailored to the program/project requirements, ensuring the most efficient time and energy.

    Objectives of this workshop:
    During the planning workshop the Mentors and Experts will act as facilitators and guide the team to prepare their implementation plans by guiding progress, maintaining focus, providing coaching and highlighting critical information and decisions. Teams will build an implementation plan that covers:
  • Definition and Alignment of the Program/project to required business objectives
  • Defining the Scope and Measures of Successes
  • Preparing an Interdependency Plan across multiple projects or complex deliverables
  • Preparing a schedule plan that incorporates the interdependencies and constraints
  • Listing out the risk and uncertainties that threaten the objectives and prepare a response plan for them
  • Defining role and responsibilities and stakeholder engagement plan for team members
  • Defining the governance and performance management processes, along with measurement metrics
